About us

Safer Together

At Safer Together we are passionate about raising awareness of safeguarding issues and promoting effective safeguarding practice across all sectors. Protecting the most vulnerable adults, children and young people in society and preventing health inequalities is our mission.

Risk and Vulnerability is only going to be further exacerbated by periods of local and national lockdowns. The safeguarding landscape has never been so complex to navigate. We recognise that this can cause practitioners at both and operational and strategic level to experience feelings of overwhelm and fatigue.

We are on hand to provide expert training and consultancy to help your organisation to implement affordable, innovative and forward thinking approaches to safeguarding that work.

Nikki is the founder and owner of Safer Together. Nikki has dedicated her entire career working in the field of safeguarding and has worked as a police officer and as an operational manager for a young person’s substance misuse service before joining Care Quality Commission (CQC) in 2017.
